Nature Vs Tech is a tower defense game made over 48 hours for the Adelaide AIE Game Jam 2018 (Nature and Technology). The build uploaded is in a pre-alpha state.

Concept

The game was designed around the core concepts of a wave based tower defense game. Nature Vs Tech was planned to have a light narrative that would show the impact of the players actions as they defended against the waves of enemies. The more the player bought and upgraded there defenses the more damage they would do against what they were protecting, this was to shed light on the idea of mankind's progression of technology potentially hurting nature and also to act as an interesting (and hopefully thought-provoking) counter balance to the designed and intended gameplay of a tower defense game. This didn't come together entirely by the 48 hours but this project none-the-less was a valuable learning experience.
